- Pieces
- Activity
- Coordination
Overloaded is a piece-play concept: a piece that has too many defensive duties. An overloaded piece can sometimes be deflected, or required to abandon one of its defensive duties. Ask whether the piece is active, coordinated, and serving a real plan.
